All materials published in Social and Legal Studios are distributed under the open licence Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, use, translate and adapt published materials, provided that proper attribution is given to the author, the article title, the journal title, the bibliographic details of the publication, the DOI where available, and a link to the official electronic version of the article.
Submission of a manuscript to the journal’s editorial office means that the author has read and accepted these licensing terms.
By submitting a manuscript, the author confirms that the material is original, does not infringe the copyright of third parties, has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another publication. The author also confirms that all borrowed materials, quotations, tables, figures and other materials used are properly referenced, and that all co-authors have read the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.
Authors retain copyright in their work. The journal receives the right of first publication of the article under the CC BY 4.0 licence, as well as the right to make the material available on the official website of the journal, to transfer metadata and full texts to scientific databases, catalogues, repositories, indexing and abstracting services, and to ensure the long-term electronic preservation of published materials.
The journal may carry out technical, literary, linguistic and editorial processing of the manuscript without altering its scientific content. To ensure the international visibility of the publication, the editorial office may also publish translations of the title, abstract, keywords and bibliographic details in English. Translation of the full text of the article may be carried out by agreement with the author.
Any further use of the journal’s materials by third parties is permitted provided that the author, article title, journal title, year, volume, issue, pages or other identifying information, DOI where available, and an active link to the official electronic version of the article are correctly indicated.
Submission of a manuscript to the journal confirms the agreement of the author or group of authors with these licensing terms and with the journal’s open access policy.
