Abstract
The results of an experimental study of social and psychological features of the formation of addiction in the behavior of adolescents from families of migrant workers are revealed in the article. The research tools are substantiated, a brief description of the techniques is given. The suitability for standardized methods used in the study to obtain empirical data on independent and additional variables was tested, and their effectiveness and ability to be used in the light of the study sample. The empirical results of the experimental study are revealed. The socio-psychological typology of adolescents with addictive behavior from migrant families has been identified: predominant orientation towards enjoyment of the environment (dependence on friends, reference group and entertainment); focus on loneliness (virtual environment, leisure and dromomania). Adolescents whose parents are not migrant workers are found to have one dominant type of addiction and several situational ones. In particular, a type of behavior such as “pet” – dependence, determined by problematic relationships between adolescents and parents and difficulties in the school environment, was dominant. Another type of addiction can be considered as an urgent one, which is driven by “dependence on good grades” and sports hobbies. These types of behavior correlate with the mechanisms of psychological protection, problems of relationship in the family environment, character accentuations, negative attitudes in general, or particular aspects of the school environment
