Abstract

The article deals with tactical methods, applied by police officers during mass events holding according to Scandinavian model of public order and safety defense, whereas police workers often must apply various tactical approaches during peace public meeting with the aim not to allow aggressive behavior by some of the participants, who intention applying violence. Tactical methods, applied by police officers during mass events holding according to Scandinavian model of public order and safety defense are adopted from the concept of Scandinavian countries concerning holding police operation by movable subdivisions. The following methods could be included to such as: "indication of the way of going", "making barrage", "tight protection under strengthened control", "apprehension of particular individuals", "separation (dispersal) and breakdown", "sluice". For making the following methods effective and productive for police, crucial is that people, to whom the police operations are directed or particular police measures are taken perceive them as fair and lawful. Probability or possibility, that it will be exactly like that increase if police approach for applying these methods completely corresponds principles of reduction and resolving the conflicts. Although they can contribute and assist in preserving situation in state "green" (calm) or return to it, if these methods will be applied in thought-out and wise way. However, very high requirements are expected from every police officer, who takes part in the operation, when these methods are applied according to the particular situation. Also, it requires thorough and maximally qualified planned work, when every officers of the organization is informed and wield the methods in the best way
