Abstract

In the article some convincing arguments have been provided regarding the urgency, expediency and prospect of training specialists in the field of “Law” by the higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, based on the historical background of their creation, current state of activity and existing challenges that law enforcement system must cope with in general. It is agreed that the training of specialists in the field of “Law” at the higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine should be continued on the basis of the most important considerations regarding the security situation in our country. As it is proved that the higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine have repeatedly demonstrated the ability to accumulate positive achievements and actual opportunities for development and improvement, we believe that the existing experience should be extended. In this field, a thoughtful opinion of the graduate should take the primary place, because he has the right to give us, scientific and pedagogical staff, the assessment, having tested his skills and practice. Definitely, among other things, we advocate a partial and gradual change of teaching methods, moving from the traditional planning of training classes, to the proactive approach of the educational process for the purpose of mastering not only students’ skills but also abilities. For this purpose, the scientific and pedagogical workers of the higher educational establishments with specific conditions of study have practical, methodological and scientific experience, methodological developments and material and technical base. It is not necessary to stop on this path, because we consider the teaching process, the process of our own learning and improvement, as well as through the modernization of training courses and the educational process as a whole. We do not consider this publication to be the only convincing argument for upholding our scientific position declared above, but merely the authors’ attempt to join to the search for rational grain in this particular global issue
