Abstract

The author offers a review on the monograph by O.M. Yemets  “Protection of public morality from criminal encroachment”, which was published in 2019. Analyzing the main content of this scientific work, he expresses his own vision of the problems raised in the research, and expresses his thoughts and proposals. In general, according to the reviewer’s point of view, the monograph of O.M. Yemets  is useful for all categories of individuals involved in protecting public moral from criminal encroachments, and paying attention to studying related issues. In particular, he notes that the reviewed scientific work is characterized by novelty, which indicates the author's deep knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of protecting public morality from criminal encroachment. The comprehensive approach applied in the monograph contributes to the formation of a perspective on how to solve complex problems that have long historical roots, but unfortunately, even today, adversely affect the various spheres of our life
