Abstract
The article deals with the socio-psychological aspect of management National Police bodies under the conditions of democratization of society and the formation of police staff with a corresponding legal consciousness that allows to perform successfully their entrusted tasks in protecting the interests of the individual, society and the state from criminal and other unlawful encroachments. Research methods are based on the provisions of the general theory of knowledge, philosophy, the theory of the state and law, the theoretical positions of the science of social management, psychology and pedagogy. The purpose of the article is to analyze the practice of law enforcement agencies, forms and methods of their activity for the formation of the legal consciousness of police employees in the context of managerial, psychological and pedagogical positions. In order to achieve this goal, the task of improving the formation of the legal consciousness of the police as the most important element of the socio-psychological aspect of the internal organizational management of the system of these bodies and increasing the effectiveness of this process is carried out. The importance and urgency of the solution of this problem is determined by the fact that the formation of the corresponding legal consciousness of the police employees should lead to improving the moral and psychological climate in the units of the National Police, making an attractive police image of a high legal culture and sufficient immunity in a democratic society. The process of formation of the legal awareness of police officers should be conceptually grounded and manageable. It is the process of management of specific employees who, in accordance with their legal consciousness, fulfill their official and civil duties, understand the expediency and necessity of their activities in the interests of citizens, society and the law
