In 2016, he defended his thesis ‘Training future officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to protect and ensure public order in the process of professional training.’

In 2019, he defended his doctoral thesis ‘Formation of a police officer's personality in the context of professional training and professional activity: legal and psychological aspects.’

Since 2021, he has been an Honoured Worker of Education of Ukraine.

He has been awarded the following distinctions by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: Letter of Thanks from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (2001), breastplate ‘For Distinction in Service’ II degree (2008), I degree (2010), medal ‘For Conscientious Service’ III degree (2010), the ‘Honorary Badge of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine’ (2012), the Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (2012), the Gratitude of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (2013; 2015), and the ‘For the Safety of the People’ badge (2019). In 2016, he was awarded the Certificate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. In 2017, he was entered into the Board of Honour of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and awarded the badge ‘Best Employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine’.

He is the author and co-author of over 150 scientific and educational works, including manuals, methodological recommendations, and scientific articles.
